深圳市建筑环境优化设计研究重点实验室成立于2016年6月，是深圳市科技创新委员会批准成立的市级科研平台（载20160016）。重点实验室依托深圳大学建筑与城市规划学院，面向城市建筑环境开展一系列基础性和应用性研究。

深圳市建筑环境优化设计研究重点实验室，关注深圳，放眼全国，重点研究深圳等地在高速城市化条件下所面临的关键问题。在高强度、高密度的背景下，针对人口不均衡积聚、土地空间资源紧张和生态环境压力陡增等突出矛盾，聚焦城市建成环境质量与可持续发展模式的研究。在建筑、规划和风景园林等多学科交叉基础上，根据建筑环境多要素的复杂条件，进行系统设计和过程分析，从源头优化设计，提高规划设计的科学性，实现经济效益、社会效益和环境效益的共赢。
